Luis Justo Calderon is a 5th-year PhD student in macroeconomics at the University of Bonn. He completed dual undergraduate degrees in finance and economics at Florida International University, after switching from an initial accounting track. Before starting his PhD, he earned a Master’s in Economics at the University of Bonn and worked as a research assistant at briq (now part of IZA) and at the Institute of Macroeconomics and Econometrics.
