Delete your LT account

This page lets you permanently delete your Latest Thinking (LT) account if you no longer use the app. If you still have the app installed, the fastest way is directly in the app: Settings > Delete account.

Request deletion

What deletion means

Deletion is immediate and permanent once confirmed. There is no grace period and it cannot be undone.
Your profile, personal data, sign-in and unpublished recordings are permanently erased.
Your email address is released right away, so you can register again later if you wish.
Published works with a DOI are part of the permanent scholarly record: they stay available with your name as attribution, but all personal account data behind them is removed.
We keep a minimal deletion log that contains no personal data, for compliance purposes.

How it works

Enter the email address your LT account is registered with and send the request.
We email that address to confirm the request really comes from the account owner.
After your confirmation, we delete the account and send you a final confirmation. Requests are completed within 7 days, usually much faster.
